Features:
1. Frontend Logs information added in System Preferences.
- Prior to 2021.11, there was no option to check the Frontend Logs information. Now, users can go through the Frontend Logs history from System Preferences.
2. Enabling Tableau profile in Query Chain Metadata.
- A new profile “Tableau” that can be used in the Query builder is added within 2021.11 build. Users can now use this profile and perform required execution operations.
3. Asset Inventory tile in COCKPIT.
- A new tile “Asset Inventory” is included in the COCKPIT module. It has the details of Total FDRs, Total TDRs, Total Validations, Total BDVs, Total QPTs, Total Queries, Total QueryChains, and Total Jobs created by the user.
Enhancements:
1. A bookmark option for folders in all Explorers.
- Prior to 2021.11, there was an option to bookmark specific files but now users can also bookmark folder/folders and it works uniformly with all explorer types (Query Explorer, Scenario Explorer and Job Explorer)
2. A new Administrator column was added to Users page (All Users tab).
- This enhancement is solely dedicated to Admin Pro-users as they could verify if their individual users have Admin access or not.
3. Add external link option in exceptions results summary page – FDR, TDR, and Validations.
- Users can now enable/disable scenario exceptions summary external links. If users enable the scenario exceptions summary link from the exceptions summary page, an external link is generated by which users can view the results even without logging into the console. This is useful especially if users wish to share the summary exceptions result with their clients. Simultaneously, users can also disable the external summary exceptions links for any security reasons.
4. Display User Expiry Dates and improving performance.
- A new Expiry Date column was added to the Users page tabular grid. As an Admin, you can now access the details related to all Users server Expiry Dates. Simultaneously, the session loading performance is also increased.
5. Double and back quote option for all RDBMS JDBC connection type profiles.
- Users can now add Double quote (“) or Back quote (‘) while new profile creation with respect to all RDBMS related profiles having JDBC connection types.
6. Restrict any non-admin pro user to change the User Groups in connection profile.
- As an Admin (Pro user), you can now restrict access to your non-admin Pro user not to modify or change the User Groups in any individual connection profile settings.
7. Source Connection String add-on within Scenarios Generate RD Service JSON Parameters.
- Users can now add or override any JDBC connection type profile’s ‘Source Connection String’ and execute it outside the console with runtime parameters using an ARC (Advanced Rest Client) or any 3rd party postman services. For this purpose, users need to have the specified scenario URL and its respective JSON parameters.
8. When CSV is updated in QC, the upstream and downstream components shouldn't be disturbed.
- Users can update or modify a CSV Data Source in a Query Chain without disturbing its downstream or upstream components. Currently, this only works with CSV Data Source.
9. Configuration of non-login-based result URL in Jobs.
Users can enable external exceptions summary result links within an individual job containing different scenarios. In each Job, there is a switch button named “Generate Offline Result Report” which has two checkbox options namely:
- Enable for all the Scenarios configured in the Job: When you checkbox this option and execute the Job, all scenarios external exceptions summary links are enabled by default at the Job level including those scenarios having external exceptions summary links disabled at the scenario level.
- Display only those Scenarios with offline result enabled (cascaded from individual Scenarios): When you checkbox this option, you can only cascade those scenarios external exceptions summary links of each individual scenario from the scenario level. No further modifications like enabling/disabling scenarios external exceptions summary links take place especially at the Job level.
10. Read-only folder option for Non-admin pro-users based on a specific User Group.
Admin pro-users can add a folder or subfolder level “read-only” security option to restrict deletion or modification from selective non-admin pro-users added to a specific User Group. There are 2 types of read-only security options as shown below:
- Read-only security option at folder level: An Admin pro-user can add a Folder level “read-only” security option to restrict deletion or modification from selective non-admin pro-users added to a specific User Group.
- Read-only security option at subfolder level: An Admin pro-user can add a subfolder level read-only security option to restrict deletion or modification from a selective non-admin pro-users added to a specific User Group.
