CMS — Scenarios: Export and Import
Export and import Reconciliation, Validation, Bulk Data Validation, and TDR scenarios between Data Trust environments.
Overview
The Scenarios tab in CMS supports exporting and importing four scenario types: Reconciliation (FDR — Functional Data Reconciliation), Validation, Bulk Data Validation, and TDR (Test Data Repository). Each type has its own list and export file.
Navigating to the Scenarios Tab

Open the Admin Console left sidebar and click Content Management.

The CMS page opens on the Queries tab. Click Scenarios to switch to scenario migration.

After clicking Scenarios, four radio buttons appear below the tabs: Reconciliation, Validation, Bulk Data Validation, and TDR. The default selection is Reconciliation. Select the scenario type you want to export.
Exporting Reconciliation Scenarios (FDRs)
- Set filters and click Get Scenarios.

With Reconciliation selected, set the Created On date range, Created By user, and optional Folder. Click Get Scenarios to load the Reconciliation scenarios.
- Review the FDR list.

The list shows all Functional Data Reconciliation scenarios matching your filters. Each row shows Scenario Name, User Name, and Created On. The pagination bar at the bottom shows the total record count.
- Select all FDRs and generate the export file.

Click the Select All header checkbox to select every FDR, then click Generate Export File. All selected Reconciliation scenarios are packaged into a single export file.
- The file downloads automatically.

The export file is downloaded to your computer, ready to be imported into the target Data Trust environment.
Exporting Validation Scenarios

Click the Validation radio button to switch to Validation scenarios. Set your filters and click Get Scenarios.

The list loads Validation scenarios. Follow the same Select All → Generate Export File flow to export them.
Exporting Bulk Data Validation Scenarios

Click Bulk Data Validation to filter to BDV scenarios. Set filters and click Get Scenarios.

Bulk Data Validation scenarios are listed. Select the ones to export and click Generate Export File.
Exporting TDR Scenarios

Click TDR (Test Data Repository) to filter to TDR-type scenarios. Set your filters and click Get Scenarios.

TDR scenarios are listed. Export them using the same Generate Export File workflow.
Importing Reconciliation Scenarios
- Switch the Export/Import toggle to Import.

Click the Import radio button in the top-right. The filter fields are replaced by the import panel for the currently selected scenario type.
- Choose the export file and load it.

The import panel shows: Select File For Import Scenarios (file picker), Folder Path (target folder), Cascade option, and the two-panel shuttle. Click Choose file to load the export file.
- Select the file to load scenarios.

Browse to the previously downloaded scenarios export file and open it. The scenarios from the file populate the left panel of the shuttle.
- Select scenarios and set the destination folder, then migrate.

The FDR scenarios from the export file appear in the left panel. Use the arrow buttons to move the desired scenarios to the right panel. Set the Folder Path for the destination folder. Click Migrate to complete the import — the scenarios will be created in the target environment in the specified folder.
