Job execution using Execute On

Execute On schedules the Job at a specific future date and time.

To learn about Job Designer, let us walk through the below procedure:

• Click on BATCH CONSOLE module.
• Hover and click on Job Designer snippet.

• A Job Designer session page is displayed.
• From the Schedule tab, let’s drag and drop Execute On icon onto the Job Designer session page and double tap on it.

• An Execute On pop-up window is displayed.
• Let’s add the desired Start Date and Start Time as per the requirement.
• The Execute on: 30/01/2023, at 00:44 Schedule Summary is updated accordingly.
• Click on Save button to save the widget.

• Click on the Objects tab.

• Let’s, drag and drop FDR Scenarios icon onto the designer page and double-tap on it.

• An FDR Scenario2 pop-up window is displayed.
• Let’s select the required FDR scenarios.
• Click on Select button.

• The Job Designer page is displayed.
• Let’s, drag and drop Validation Scenarios icon on to the designer page and double tap on it.

• A Validation Scenario 3 pop-up window is displayed.
• Click on Select to save the Validation Scenario 3 widget.

• We will be navigated to the Job Designer page.
• Click on Additional Options tab.

• Let’s, drag and drop an Email (Overall) icon and double-tap on it.

• An Email (Overall) 4 pop-up window is displayed.
• Click on Save button to save the widget.

• We will be navigated to the Job Designer page.
• Click on Save Schedule icon.

• This action navigates to the Job Explorer
• Click the Scheduled option.

• Search with scheduling Job and here we can view our job scheduled using Execute On option.
