Users can save different views of the pre-delivered reports by customizing the report filters, layout, and title.
To learn more, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the ‘REPORTING’ module.
- By default, the ‘Data Quality metrics’ Dashboard is selected.
- Click the ‘Global Filter’ button.
Path: REPORTING > Data Quality Metrics
- A ‘Global Filters’ pop-up slide screen is displayed and has different drop-down lists such as Select Scenario, Select Job, Select User, Select Profile, and Date/Days selection (Last, Between, and Not Between).
- Apart from these drop-down lists, the user can also view a ‘Root’ option for Folder selection.
- Let’s select ‘RDAdmin’ as the user from the ‘Select Profile’ drop-down list.
- Click the ‘Preview Filter Data’ button.
- The filtered report displays 103 ‘Total Scenarios’.
- Click the ‘Save Report As’ button.
- A ‘Save Report As’ pop-up window is displayed.
- Let’s add ‘RDAdmin’s Report’ text in the ‘Report Name’ text field.
- Click the ‘Save’ button.
- A toaster message “Report with the name ‘RDAdmin’s Report’ saved successfully” is displayed on the top right corner of the page.
- Click the ‘Reports’ button.
- A ‘Saved Reports’ pop-up window is displayed.
- The user can view the recently saved ‘RDAdmin’s Report’ with three-button options such as View Report, Edit Report, and Delete Report.
- A ‘View Report’ button views the Report.
- An ‘Edit Report’ button edits the Report.
- A ‘Delete Report’ button deletes the Report.
- Let’s click the ‘View Report’ button.
- The user is navigated to the ‘RDAdmin’s Report’ filtered page.
- Again, click the ‘Global Filter’ button.
- Now let’s select ‘MSSQL JDBC_AWS’ from the ‘Select Profile’ drop-down list.
- Click the ‘Preview Filter Data’ button.
- The user is navigated to the filtered results page which displays only 2 ‘Total Scenarios’ and that are Validations as well.
- The user can now either click the ‘Update Report’ button to update and save the existing report (RDAdmin’s Report) or click the ‘Save Report As’ button to save it as a new report.
- Let’s click the ‘Save Report As’ button.
- A ‘Save Report As’ pop-up window is displayed.
- Let’s add the ‘Report Name’ as ‘RDAdmin’s Validation Report’.
- Click the ‘Save’ button.
- A toaster message “Report with the name ‘RDAdmin’s Validation Report’ saved successfully” is displayed on the top right corner of the page.
- Now, let’s click the ‘Reports’ button.
- A ‘Saved Reports’ pop-up window is displayed.
- The user can view both the reports (‘RDAdmin’s Report and RDAdmin’s Validation Report) here.
Note: Similarly, the user can also use this feature with the rest of the REPORTING dashboards such as Data Quality Dimensions, Row Counts Compare, Reconciliations, and Scenario Execution History.
