Cockpit - Asset Inventory Tile
The Asset Inventory tile in Cockpit provides a consolidated count of DATATRUST assets, including FDRs, TDRs, Validations, BDVs, QPTs, Queries, Query Chains, and Jobs.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, confirm the following:
- You are logged in to DATATRUST with a Pro-User or Admin Pro-User role.
- You have at least one asset created in the platform.
Overview
The Asset Inventory tile supports Line Chart, Pie Chart, and Tabular views. You can switch between All Users and Single User data, filter chart series using legends, and drill down to asset-specific detail pages.
From the Tabular and Pie Chart views, clicking an asset metric opens the corresponding detail page, where you can view user-level records and open selected assets in edit mode.

Accessing Asset Inventory
Navigate to: Cockpit > Asset Inventory tile
- Log in to DATATRUST.
- In the left navigation, click Cockpit.
- Locate the Asset Inventory tile on the Cockpit page.

NOTE: By default, the tile opens in Line Chart mode for the selected date range.
Procedures
Refresh the Tile
- Click the Refresh icon on the Asset Inventory toolbar.

Switch to Tabular View and Drill Down
- Click the Tabular View icon on the tile toolbar.

- Click Total FDR's to open the FDR asset list.

Switch to Pie Chart View
- Click the Pie Chart icon on the tile toolbar.

- Hover over or select a pie segment to view the asset count.

Switch to Line Chart View
- Click the Line Chart icon on the toolbar to return to trend view.

Expand and Close the Tile
- Click the Expand icon on the tile toolbar.

- The expanded view opens with detailed charts.

- Click X to close the tile from Cockpit if required.

NOTE: To restore a closed tile, go to Cockpit Settings and re-enable Asset Inventory.
Show Legend and Filter Series
- Click the legend icon to open the asset legend panel.

- Click a legend item to strike it out and hide that series from the chart.

Drill Down from Expanded View
- In expanded view, click the Query Chain data pointer.

- Click a Query Chain title to open its details.

- Click Total FDR'S from the summary metrics.
