Data Quality Dimensions Dashboard has the details of columns like Type (Type of scenario), Scenario Name (Details of scenario names), Profile Name (Details of Profile names), Latest Result (Status of execution-Pass, fail, warning, or information), Result History (complete result history), Records Analyzed (Details of the total number of analyzed records), Exceptions Count (Scenario exceptions count), Duration (Scenario execution duration), Quality Dimensions, Risk Categories, Data Domains, Team, Project, Layer, Group, Executed By, and Executed On.

To learn about Data Quality Dimensions Dashboard, let us walk through the below procedure:

• Click the ‘REPORTING’ module.
• Click the ‘Data Quality Metrics’ Dashboard.

• A ‘Dashboards’ slide screen window is displayed.
• Select and click the ‘Data Quality Dimensions’ dashboard.
• Click the ‘Select’ button.

Path: REPORTING> Data Quality Metrics > Data Quality Dimensions> Select

• The user is navigated to the ‘Data Quality Dimensions Report’ dashboard.
• By default, ‘Dashboard View’ and ‘All’ tile are selected.
• Click the ‘Download As Excel’ button to download different ‘Data Quality Dimensions’ reports.
• Click the ‘All’ tile ‘Expand Widget’ button.

• The ‘All’ tile expanded view is displayed and has unassigned and other assigned data quality dimensions such as Accuracy, Conformity, Consistency, Completeness, Uniqueness, and Validity.
• Apart from this the user can also notice ‘Risk Categories’ such as Critical, High, and Medium.

• Let’s hover and click the ‘Unassigned’ category button.

Note: Hovering on any category displays the scenarios numbers related to that particular category or other data quality dimensions.

• The unassigned scenarios (389) are displayed in the form of a tabular grid and have different fields such as Type, Scenario Name, Profile Name, Latest Result, Result History, Records Analyzed, Exceptions Count, Duration, Quality Dimensions, Risk Categories, Team, PROJECT, Layer, GROUP, Executed By, and Executed On.
• Let’s click the first scenario (Snowflake Bulk Data Validation) from the ‘Scenario Name’ column.

• The user is navigated to the Bulk Validation session page of that particular scenario.
• Close this window and navigate back to the ‘Data Quality Dimensions’ session page.

• Click the green tick mark under the ‘Latest Result’ column.

• The user is navigated to the ‘Summary’ tab of that particular scenario.
• Close this window and navigate back to the ‘Data Quality Dimensions’ session page.

• Click the Graph button under the ‘Result History’ column.

• A ‘Snowflake Bulk Data Validation’ pop-up window is displayed.
• By default, ‘All’ is selected for the ‘Result History’.
• Close this pop-up window.

• Click the Unexpand button to collapse the tabular grid.

Note: The same button can be used to expand the tabular grid.

• Now hover and click the ‘Completeness’ data quality dimension.

• The ‘Completeness’ data quality dimension tabular grid is displayed.
• Click the Unexpand button to collapse the tabular grid.

• Under ‘Completeness’ data quality dimension, the user can view Risk Categories (Critical, High, and Medium) Data Domains (Customer, Customer Regional Attributes, and Orders).

Note: The user can view all the scenarios assigned ‘Reporting Characteristics’ under this Data Quality Dimensions Dashboard. Click here to view Reporting Characteristics user guide.

• Let’s hover and click the ‘Critical: 5.’

• The ‘Critical: 5’ tabular grid is displayed.
• Click the Unexpand button to collapse the tabular grid.

• Similarly, the user can also check the different assigned ‘Reporting Characteristics’ such as Risk categories (High), Data Domains (Orders, Customer Regional Attributes, and Customer).

• In the same way, the user can also check other data quality dimensions such as Accuracy, Conformity, Uniqueness, Consistency, Validity, Critical, High, Medium, etc.
• Click the ‘Expand Widget’ button to collapse the ‘All’ tile.

Note: The same ‘Expand Widget’ button acts as either Expand button or Collapse button.

• Click the individual ‘Accuracy’ tile.
• Click the number 68 (Total Checks).

• The tabular grid related to the ‘Accuracy’ tile is displayed.

Note: Similarly, the user can also check the remaining data quality dimensions of other individual tiles such as Conformity, Consistency, Completeness, Integrity, Timeliness, Uniqueness, and Validity.

• Click the Unexpand button to collapse the tabular grid.
• Let’s select and click the ‘Accuracy’ tile.
• Click the ‘Edit Report’ button.

• An ‘Edit Report’ pop-up slide screen is displayed on the left - hand side.
• The ‘Edit Report’ slide screen has 2 columns namely Fields and Visualizations.

Note: By default, ‘Count’ is checked in.

• Let’s select the ‘Layer’ and ‘GROUP’ checkboxes reporting characteristics based on the ‘Count’ for the ‘Accuracy’ tile.
• Click the ‘Save Report As’ button.

• A ‘Save Report As’ pop-up window is displayed.
• Let’s enter the text ‘Quality Dimensions for Accuracy’ for the ‘Report Name’ text field.
• Click the ‘Save’ button.

• A message ‘Report with name Quality Dimensions for Accuracy saved successfully’ is displayed on the top right corner of the page.

• Click the ‘Send Email’ button.

• A ‘Send Email’ pop-up window is displayed.
• Let’s add an email address.

Note: The email address is greyed out due to confidential data.

• Click the ‘Send’ button.

• A ‘Sending Email’ message is displayed on the top right corner of the page.

• The user receives the ‘Data Quality Dimensions Dashboard data’ email as shown here.

• Click the ‘Add Widgets’ button.

• An ‘Add Widgets’ pop-up window is displayed.

Note: If an individual widget /tile is not present in the Data Quality Dimensions dashboard and if the user wishes to add it, he/she can add by clicking the ‘Add Widget’ button.

• Click the ‘Reports’ button.

• A ‘Saved Reports’ pop-up window is displayed.
• The saved report ‘Quality Dimensions for Accuracy’ is listed.
• A ‘View Report’ button views the report.
• An ‘Edit Report’ button edits the report.
• A ‘Delete Report’ button deletes the report.
• A ‘Pin’ button pins the report on the top.

• Click the ‘Tabular View’.

• The Unassigned and all the other assigned data quality dimension scenarios are listed in a tabular format view.
