An admin pro-user can add users to different user groups. To add a new user group, an admin has to enter the details such as the Group Name, Description, Users, and Profiles.
To learn about User Groups, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the ‘ADMIN CONSOLE’ tab.
- Hover on ‘Security snippet’ from the left pane options.
- Click the ‘User Groups’ option.
Path: ADMIN CONSOLE > Security > User Groups
- The user is navigated to the ‘User Groups’ session page.
- A ‘Refresh’ button is used to refresh the User Groups session page.
- A ‘Search’ box is used to search for any available User Groups.
- Let’s suppose select ‘Security’ from the ‘Group Name’ column.
Note: Users and Profiles pop-up screens are displayed when the user selects any User Group name checkbox.
- Click the ‘Edit’ button.
- An ‘Edit User Group’ pop-up window is displayed.
- Let’s suppose add the text ‘Security’ under ‘Description’ field.
- Click the ‘Update’ button.
- A message ‘User group updated successfully’ is displayed on the top right corner of the page.
- Click the ‘Delete’ button.
- A ‘Delete’ pop-up window is displayed.
- A message ‘User group deleted successfully’ is displayed on the top right corner of the page.
- Click the plus ‘(+) User Group’ button.
- A ‘Create User Group’ pop-up window is displayed.
- Let’s suppose fill in the text fields such as Group Name, Description, Users, and Profiles.
- Click the ‘Save’ button.
- A message ‘User group saved successfully’ is displayed on the top right corner of the page.
- The ‘Security’ is successfully added under the User Groups.
