Asset Inventory Dashboard is a part of REPORTING module. Using this dashboard, users can view the details of the ‘individual user assets’ (signed in user) and ‘All assets’. The asset types specified here include FDRs, TDRs, Validations, Queries, QueryChains, JOBs, QPTs, and BDVs.
To learn about Asset Inventory, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the ‘REPORTING’ module.
- Click the ‘Data Quality Metrics’ dashboard.
- A ‘Dashboards’ slide screen window is displayed.
- Scroll and select the ‘Asset Inventory’ dashboard.
- Click the ‘Select’ button.
- The user is navigated to the ‘Asset Inventory Report’ dashboard.
- By default, the signed-in user (Bhanu) assets are displayed.
- A ‘Refresh’ button on the top right side is used to refresh the ‘Asset Inventory Report’ session page.
- A ‘Download as Excel’ button is used to download different Asset Inventory Reports.
- Let’s click the ‘Global Filter’ button.
- A ‘Global Filters’ pop-up slide screen is displayed with different drop-down lists such as Select Scenario, Select Type, Select User, Select Profile, and Date/Days selection (Last, Between, and Not Between). Apart from these drop-down lists, the user can also view a ‘Root’ option for Folder selection.
- Let’s suppose add ‘QueryChain’ from the ‘Select Type’ drop-down list.
- Click the ‘Preview Filter Data’ button.
- The user is navigated to the ‘QueryChain’ filtered report containing all the details of individual (signed-in user) Query Chains.
- Click the ‘Save Report As’ button.
- A ‘Save Report As’ pop-up window is displayed.
- Let’s add ‘Query Chain Report’ under the ‘Report Name’ text field.
Note: Users can also add a User Group if required.
- Click the ‘Save’ button.
- A toaster message ‘Report with name ‘Query Chain Report’ saved successfully’ is displayed on the top right corner of the page.
- Click the ‘Reports’ button.
- A ‘Saved Reports’ pop-up window is displayed.
- The user can view the recently saved ‘Query Chain Report’ with three-button options such as View Report, Edit Report, and Delete Report.
- Click the ‘View Report’ button to view the Report.
- Click the ‘Edit Report’ button to edit the Report.
- Click the ‘Delete Report’ button to delete the Report.
- Close this pop-up window and navigate back to the ‘Asset Inventory’ session page.
- Let’s click the ‘Send Email’ button.
- A ‘Send an Email’ pop-up window is displayed.
- Let’s add an Email address.
Note: Email address is greyed due to confidential data.
- Click the ‘Send’ button.
- A toaster message ‘Sending Email’ is displayed on the top right corner of the page.
- The user can also view the ‘Asset Inventory Dashboard’ email with the attached excel Report.
- Close this window and navigate back to the ‘Asset Inventory’ session page.
- Let’s click the ‘All assets’ tab.
- The user is navigated to the ‘All assets’ details page displaying the other user’s details such as FDRs, TDRs, Validations, Queries, QueryChains, JOBs, QPTs, and BDVs.
