TDR Session Monitor
Overview
The TDR Session Monitor provides real-time and historical visibility into the execution of Trend Data Reconciliation (TDR) scenarios. Users can track running sessions, review completed and errored results, and access the execution summary for detailed insight into each run.
Prerequisites
- You are logged in to Data Trust with a Pro-User or Admin Pro-User role.
- At least one TDR scenario has been executed or is currently running.
Steps
Path: Data Trust › Scenario Session Monitor › TDR Session Monitor
Navigate to the Scenario Session Monitor module and select TDR Session Monitor from the left sidebar. The page loads with all recent TDR scenario sessions listed in reverse chronological order.
The toolbar provides Refresh to reload the session list, a Running tab to filter to actively executing sessions, and a Search bar to find a scenario by name. Keep this page open during batch runs to monitor TDR scenario progress in real time.
Clicking the Edit icon on a session row opens the TDR Scenario Edit page, showing its full configuration including data sources, trend rules, and schedule settings. Review this page when a session result is unexpected — the configuration will reveal whether the scenario definition needs to be corrected.
Clicking the name of a completed session opens its result detail view. The detail view shows the overall pass/fail status, execution timing, and links to the full execution summary and output.
The Result button in the session detail opens the execution result for that TDR run directly. This is the fastest way to jump from the session list to the actual trend comparison data.
The Scenario Execution Summary displays a breakdown of trend metrics including baseline values, current values, and variance percentages. Use this summary to quickly assess whether the data trend is within the acceptable range defined in the scenario.
The Errored tab filters the session list to show TDR sessions that failed due to a system or configuration error. Click into an errored session and check the log to determine whether the issue is a data connectivity problem, a missing table, or a misconfigured trend rule.
The All Sessions tab removes any active status filter and displays every TDR session regardless of its outcome. Use this view for a complete audit trail of all trend reconciliation activity in the system.
