Reporting — Custom Reporting
Build and save personalized custom report views on the Data Quality Dimensions Dashboard using filter combinations for different teams and objectives.
Overview
Custom Reporting in Data Trust allows users to create tailored report views on the Data Quality Dimensions Dashboard by applying filter combinations and saving them as distinct named reports — building a library of purpose-built views for different audiences, data domains, or analysis objectives.
Prerequisites
- You are logged in to Data Trust with a Pro-User or Admin Pro-User role.
- Scenario data is available in the Data Quality Dimensions Dashboard.
Building a Custom Report
Path: Data Trust › Reporting › Data Quality Dimensions DashboardOpen the Data Quality Dimensions Dashboard as the starting point for building custom reports — this dashboard supports the richest set of filter options for custom reporting. The Dimensions Dashboard is the recommended base for custom reports because it allows filtering by dimension, user, status, date range, and profile simultaneously.
Open the Global Filters panel to select the specific dimensions, scenarios, users, or statuses that your custom report should cover. Defining your filter criteria carefully at this stage ensures the saved report will consistently return the correct scoped data every time it is loaded.
The 'Executed By' filter option lets you scope the report to scenarios executed by a specific user, creating a user-level custom reporting view on the Dimensions Dashboard. This filter is particularly useful for team managers who want to monitor the data quality output of individual team members within specific quality dimensions.
The Dimensions Dashboard after applying the 'Executed By' filter now shows only the quality dimension results for scenarios executed by the selected user. The filtered view is ready to be saved — the filter state will be preserved in the saved report so this user-scoped dimension view can be reloaded instantly in future sessions.
- Open the Data Quality Dimensions Dashboard.
- Click the Filter icon, apply your desired criteria, and click Apply.
The dashboard refreshes with the filtered dimension view.
- Click Save Report As, enter a descriptive name, and click Save.
The custom report is saved and appears in the Saved Reports panel.
Accessing Saved Custom Reports
The Saved Reports panel shows all saved custom report configurations, each as a named entry that can be loaded with a single click. Building a library of custom reports over time means your team can access any standard analysis view instantly, without spending time configuring filters from scratch each session.
