Security — User Group Design Changes
Updated User Groups interface with inline Users and Connections columns and direct Add/Remove actions.
Overview
The User Groups page has been redesigned to show Users and Connections as inline columns directly in the group list. This makes it easy to see which users and connections belong to each group at a glance, without needing to open each group separately. An Add/Remove action is also available directly from the list row.

In the left sidebar, click Security and then User Groups to open the updated User Groups page.
Figure 2: Updated User Groups page layout
The redesigned User Groups list now includes two additional inline columns: Users — displaying the usernames assigned to each group, and Connections — showing the connection profiles the group can access. This allows administrators to review memberships and access at a glance without opening individual groups.
Adding and Removing Users from a Group
- Select the group row to see the Add/Remove action icons.
Figure 3: Add/Remove option visible on row selection
Click a group row to select it. The Users and Connections columns each show a small Add/Remove icon (person with +/-). Click the icon in the Users column to open the Add/Remove Users popup for that group.
- The Add/Remove Users popup opens.
Figure 4: Add/Remove Users popup
The Add/Remove users from [Group Name] popup shows two panels side by side: All Available Users on the left lists every user not currently in the group, and Selected Users on the right lists current group members. Use the arrow buttons in the centre (›› to add all, › to add selected, ‹ to remove selected, ‹‹ to remove all) to move users between the panels. A Show Inactive Users checkbox is available on both sides to include inactive accounts in the lists.
- Select a user from the left panel and click the › button to move them to the right panel.
Figure 5: Adding a user to the group
Click a username in the All Available Users list to highlight it, then click the › (single right arrow) to move them to the Selected Users panel. The user will be added to the group when you click Apply.
- The user appears in the Selected Users panel.
Figure 6: User added to Selected Users
The user (David) now appears in the Selected Users panel on the right, confirming they have been queued for addition. Click Apply to save the change.
- Click Apply and confirm the success message.
Figure 7: User added to group successfully
A success toast message confirms the user has been added to the group. The Users column for that group in the main list will now include the newly added user.
Removing a User from a Group
- Open the Add/Remove Users popup for the group and locate the user to remove.
Figure 8: Selecting a user to remove
In the Selected Users panel on the right, click on the username you want to remove from the group to highlight them, then click the ‹ (single left arrow) to move them back to the All Available Users panel.
- The user is moved back to the Available panel.
Figure 9: User removed from the group
The user has been moved back to the All Available Users panel, indicating they will be removed from the group on Apply.
- Click Apply and confirm.
Figure 10: Group membership updated successfully
A success message confirms the group membership has been updated. The removed user will no longer have access to the connections assigned to this group.
