BOBJ Profile Report Visualisation in Query Builder

View and query SAP BusinessObjects report data from the Query Builder.

Overview

This guide walks through the BOBJ Profile Report Visualisation in Query Builder workflow in Data Trust Query Studio. Follow the numbered steps below to configure, execute, and review the results.

Note: Ensure all required connection profiles are configured in the Administration module before building queries or Query Chains in this workflow.

Prerequisites

• You are logged in to Data Trust with a Pro-User or Admin Pro-User role.
• The relevant connection profiles have been configured in the Administration module.

Steps

Path: Data Trust › Query Studio › BOBJ Profile Report Visualisation in Query Builder

Navigate to the Query Studio module and select QUERY STUDIO to open the Query Builder workspace. This is the starting point for creating, editing, and managing queries in Data Trust.

This step shows Query in the BOBJ Profile Report Visualisation in Query Builder workflow. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete this configuration step before proceeding to the next stage.

The Select BOBJ panel configures the SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) connection for accessing BO universe data. Select the BOBJ profile and the target report or universe to use as the query data source.

The Navigator panel displays the available databases, schemas, and tables for the selected connection. Expand the tree to locate the required table, then click Select to add it to the query.

This step configures the SAP BOBJ Report SAP connection for the query data source. Ensure the SAP connection profile is set up in the Administration module before proceeding with table or InfoProvider selection.
