Profile and Created By Filter in Job Designer Widgets

Filter scenarios by Profile and Created By fields when configuring Job Designer widgets.

Overview

Data Trust has enhanced the filter experience in Job Designer widgets — FDR, TDR, Validation, BDV, QPT, and Query Chain. Users can now filter scenarios by Profile and Created By fields, making it easier to locate and select the right scenarios when a job library is large.

Prerequisites

• You are logged in to Data Trust with a Pro-User or Admin Pro-User role.
• Scenarios created by multiple users or belonging to multiple profiles exist in the system.

Steps

Path: Batch Console › Job Designer › FDR / Validation / BDV / QPT / Query Chain Widget › Filter

Navigate to the Batch Console module and select Job Designer from the menu. Open an existing job or create a new one to access widget configuration.

On the Create Job page, enter a name for the job. You will add widgets and use the new Profile and Created By filters to select scenarios.

Add the Execute Now widget to the canvas as the schedule type. Then drag an FDR widget to start configuring scenarios with the new filter options.

Add the FDR widget to the canvas and open it to access the scenario selection popup. The Filter button inside the popup now includes the Profile and Created By filter fields.

Click the Filter button in the FDR popup to open the filter panel. The filter panel now shows Profile and Created By fields in addition to the standard name filter.

Select a Connection Name (Profile) and enter a Created By value to narrow the scenario list. The popup updates in real time to show only the scenarios matching both criteria, making targeted selection fast and accurate.
