FDR execution using SAP-BW profile
Using FDR, users can compare a pair of data sets (source and target) to the field-by-field level and this option is the most comprehensive way to reconcile data between all right data supported data sources. Let’s execute an FDR using SAP-BW profile.
To learn more, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the SCENARIO STUDIO module.
- Hover on the Scenario Builder snippet from the left pane options.
- Click the Functional Data Recon option.
- The user is navigated to a new FDR session page in create and edit mode.
- From the Data Source tab, let’s drag and drop SAP Table icon.
- Double tap the source SAP Table widget.
- A Read data from table pop-up window is displayed.
- Select SAP BW-Livewire from the Connection Name drop-down list.
- Click the Navigator icon.
- Let’s select the desired table from the schema.
- Click the Select button to save the SAP Table source widget.
- From the Data Source tab, let’s drag and drop an RDBMS Table icon and douple tap on it to open it.
- A Read data from table pop-up window is displayed.
- Let’s select Oracle from the Database Type drop-down list.
- Select QA_Oracle_NJ from the Connection Name drop-down list.
- Click the Navigator icon.
- Let’s select the desired table from the schema.
- Click the Select button to save the RDBMS Tables target widget.
- Click the Reconciliation tab.
- Drag and drop Map source & target fields icon and double tap it.
- A Map source & target fields pop-up window is displayed.
- Click on the Save button.
- A Confirm action pop-up window is displayed.
- Click the Verified button to save the target RDBMS Tables widget.
- Click on the Execute Now button.
- Here the FDR scenario is Failed.
- Click on the Map source & target fields count 7.
- A Scenario Exception Summary tab is displayed showing the execution results.
