XML as data source in Metadata widget of Query Chain

XML can be used as a data source in Metadata widget of Query Chain.

To learn more, let us walk through the below steps:

• Click the QUERY STUDIO module.
• Hover on the Query Builder snippet and click the Query Chain option to open it.

• From the Data Source tab, drag and drop a Metadata widget on to the design canvas and double tap it to open.

• A Read data from Metadata Snapshot pop-up window is displayed.
• Select XML from the Profile dropdown list.
• Select the XML Profile and Metadata Attributes as per the requirement.
• Click the Save option to save the widget.

• Click the Output tab.

• Drag and drop an RD Output widget onto the design canvas and double tap it to open.

• An RD Output pop-up window is displayed.
• Click the Select option to save and close the widget.

• Click the Execute Now icon to execute the Query Chain.

• The Query Chain is Passed here.
• Click the RD Output count 144.

• This action displays the Results tab.
