QC execution using snapshot Output of a Metadata
A Query Chain runs and executes data using different profiles. A Transformation tab transforms the data. Let’s execute a snapshot output of Metadata using Query Chain.
To learn more, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the ‘QUERY STUDIO’ tab.
- Hover on the ‘Query Builder’ snippet.
- Click the ‘Query Chain’ option.
- From the Data Source tab, drag and drop the ‘Metadata’ icon onto the Query Chain session page.
- Click the ‘Metadata’ widget.
- A pop-up window ‘Read data from Metadata Snapshot’ is displayed.
- Select ‘RD Datastore’ from the Profile drop-down list.
Note: Object Selection Criteria, Type Selection, and Metadata Attributes sessions are displayed.
- Click the ‘Save’ button.
- This action closes and saves the ‘Metadata’ (Read data from Metadata Snapshot) widget.
- Click the ‘Output’ tab.
- Drag and drop an ‘RD Output’ icon as shown here.
- Double tap the ‘RD Output’ widget.
- An ‘RD Output’ pop-up window is displayed.
- Click the ‘Select’ button to save the ‘RD Output’ widget.
- Click the ‘Execute Now’ button.
- A green tick mark indicates successful ‘Pass’ execution.
- A Monitor mode is enabled immediately after the execution process.
- Click the count adjacent to the ‘RD Output’ widget.
- The user is navigated to the ‘Results’ tab.
