Add select query and redirect to the source page in variable explorer create page
Now the user can view the selected query from the ‘Variable Builder’ create page and at the same time can be able to redirect to the source page where it was used previously.
To learn more, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the ‘QUERY STUDIO’ module.
- Click the ‘Variable Explorer’ snippet from the left pane options.
- The user is navigated to the ‘Variable Explorer’ session page.
Note: By default, ‘User Defined Variables’ tab is selected.
- Click the ‘Variable Builder’ snippet from the left pane options.
- The user is navigated to the ‘Variable Builder’ session page.
- By default, ‘Static values’ radio button is selected for the ‘Input Options’ field.
- Let’s select the ‘Output from query’ radio button.
- Let’s select and click the ‘MySQL TPCH Query1’ from the ‘Select Query’ drop-down list.
Note: As the user clicks any query from the ‘Select Query’ drop-down list, it appears under the ‘Selected Query’ field.
- Let’s click the ‘Selected Query’ (‘MySQL TPCH Query1’ here).
- The user is navigated to the source page where this query (‘MySQL TPCH Query1’) was previously used.
