Explore Extracts
Explore Extracts is a part of QUERY STUDIO module. This session displays the details of all the executed Query Chains including the Extract Name, DB (Database) View Name, Status, Record Count, Actions, Duration, Executed By, Executed On, and Path.
To learn about Explore Extracts, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the ‘QUERY STUDIO’ tab.
- Hover on the ‘Explore Extracts’ snippet.
- Click the ‘Explore Extracts’ option.
Path: QUERY STUDIO > Explore Extracts
- An ‘Explore Extracts’ session page is displayed.
- A ‘Refresh’ page is used to refresh the ‘Explore Extracts’ session page.
- A ‘New Query’ button is used to navigate to ‘New Query’ page.
- A ‘Search’ box is used to search for any Query Chain’s Extract Names.
- Clicking the ‘New Query’ drop-down arrow displays 2 drop-down selections namely ‘New Query’ and Auto Generated Queries.’
- Now click the ‘New Query’ option.
- A ‘New Query’ page is displayed.
Note: Close this window and revert back to ‘Explore Extracts’ page.
- Click the ‘Auto Generate Queries’ option.
- The user is navigated to a new ‘Auto Generate Queries’ session page.
Note: Close this window and revert back to ‘Explore Extracts’ page.
- Click the ‘New Query Chain’ button.
- The user is navigated to a ‘New Query Chain’ session page.
Note: Close this window and revert back to ‘Explore Extracts’ page.
- Click the ‘csv join issue’ from the ‘QueryChain Name’ column.
- The user is navigated to that particular Query Chain (csv join issue) in create and edit mode.
Note: Close this window and navigate back to ‘Explore Extracts’ page.
- Click the ‘View’ button.
- The execution data of that particular Query Chain (csv join issue) is displayed in a new tab beside ‘Home.’
- Click the ‘Home’ button.
- Click the ‘Create Download File’ button.
- The file downloading process is displayed at the bottom of the screenshot.
- Click the ‘Delete’ button.
- The ‘Delete’ button gets disabled as shown in the below screenshot.
- Click the ‘History’ button.
- The complete history details of that particular Query Chain (csv join issue) are displayed.
- Click the ‘Filter’ button.
- A ‘Filters’ pop-up slide screen is displayed with text field options such as ‘Executed On, Executed By, Profile, and Folder.
- Fill in all the required text field details and click the ‘Filter’ button.
- The filtered results are displayed based on the entered text fields.
- Click the ‘Choose Table Fields’ button.
- A pop-up slide screen is displayed with all the Tabular Grid column names.
Note: By default, all the column names are selected.
- Let’s suppose uncheck the ‘DB View Name’ column name.
Note: Unchecking any column immediately removes that particular column from the tabular grid.
- Click the ‘Save’ button.
- A message ‘Columns Saved Successfully!’ is displayed.
- Click the ‘Load More’ button option.
Note: The ‘Load More’ button is turned blue indicating the process is successful.
