Review & Confirm (Metadata) v7.6 beta
Overview
Review & Confirm (Metadata) is where Data Stewards review the metadata objects discovered during extraction and enrichment. You can approve, exclude, or annotate tables and views before they become active governance assets.
Target Persona: Data Stewards, Data Engineers.
Prerequisites: At least one connection profile with completed metadata extraction via Metadata Extract & Enrich.
How This Module Helps
After metadata extraction discovers hundreds of tables and views, not all of them belong in your governance scope. This module lets you: - Approve tables and views that should be monitored for metadata changes and DQ - Exclude temporary, staging, or test tables that would create noise - Enrich objects with AI-generated business descriptions - Establish a governance baseline before activating monitoring
