Content Management is a part of the ADMIN CONSOLE tab. Using Content Management, user/users can migrate Queries, Query Chains, Scenarios, and Jobs from one system to another system. Users can search and filter Queries, Query Chains, Scenarios, and Jobs by Profile Name Created On, Created By, and Folder parameters.
To learn about Content Management, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the ‘ADMIN CONSOLE’ tab.
- Hover on the left-hand pane options.
- Click the ‘Content Management’ option.
Path: ADMIN CONSOLE > Content Management
- A ‘Migration’ session page is displayed.
- By default, the ‘Queries’ option is selected with a green tick mark status.
- A toggle between ‘Bulk Copy’ and ‘Export/Import’ is displayed.
Note: By default, the toggle is enabled to the ‘Export/Import option.
- An ‘Export’ button is used to export the selected Queries by filtering with Profile Name, Created On, Created By, and Folder.
- The Query Chains, Scenarios, and Jobs can also be exported similarly to Queries.
- Let’s suppose, fill in the ‘Queries’ related Profile Name, Created On, and Created by with the required details.
- Click the ‘Browse Folders’ button.
- A ‘Choose Folder’ pop-up window is displayed.
Note: The Root Folder or any other Folder/Folders from the Root can be selected manually but by default, the Root folder is selected.
- A ‘Refresh’ button is used to refresh the ‘Choose Folder’ session page.
- A ‘Search Folder’ text field is used to search for any folders.
- Click the ‘Get Queries’ button.
- The filtered Queries get displayed under the ‘Generate Export File’ text.
- Let’s suppose, select the ‘QueryName’ checkbox.
Note: Selecting the‘ QueryName’ checkbox selects all the Queries at one go, individual Queries can also be selected if required.
- Click the ‘Generate Export File’ button.
- The ‘Generate Export File’ button downloads the file (Queries Exporet File_1_24_202212_16_19 PM.txt).
- Now select the ‘Import’ option.
- A ‘Select Queries export file’ option is displayed.
- Click the ‘Choose File’ button to upload Queries export file.
- Now upload the previous file (Queries Exporet File_1_24_202212_16_19 PM.txt) downloaded during the ‘Export’ process.
- Select the ‘Queries Exporet File_1_24_202212_16_19 PM.txt’ file and click the ‘Open’ button to import the file.
- The three Queries are imported and displayed as shown here.
- An ‘Import Selected’ button selects only the selected Query/Queries.
- An ‘Import All’ button selects all the Queries at one time.
- Let’s suppose checkbox the first Query (PB Queries).
- Click the ‘Import Selected’ button.
- The selected Query (PB queries) gets imported and is displayed on the right-hand side.
Note: A ‘De-Select All’ button is enabled immediately after importing one or more than one Queries.
- Let’s suppose, check the ‘PB queries’ Query on the right-hand display and click the De-Select button.
Note: The ‘De-Select’ button enables when selecting at least one Query from the Query Name on the right-hand side.
- The selected Query (PB queries) is removed from the right-hand side display.
- Let’s now enable ‘Query Name’ checkbox on the left-hand side resulting in all Queries selection.
- Click the ‘Import Selected’ button.
- All the selected Queries get imported and are displayed on the right-hand side.
- Click the ‘Browse Folders’ button.
- A ‘Choose Folder’ pop-up window is displayed.
- Let’s suppose select the ‘Validations’ folder and click the ‘Select’ button.
- The selected folder (Root/Validations) is displayed.
- Click the ‘Migrate’ button.
- A message “Migration has been completed” is displayed on the top right corner of the page.
- Later, the user has navigated automatically to the ‘Query Explorer’ session page.
- Now, click the ‘Validations’ folder name.
- The three Queries are migrated and are displayed under the ‘Validations’ folder.
- Similarly, selected Query Chains, Scenarios, or Jobs can also be Exported or imported based on the requirement.
