Establish RDBMS JDBC type profile connections using AWS Secrets Manager

Now, the user can establish any RDBMS JDBC profile connection using AWS Credential Manager parameters such as URL and Secret ARN.

To learn more, let us walk through the below procedure:

• Click the ‘ADMIN CONSOLE’ module.
• This action navigates the user to the ‘Profiles’ session page.
• Click the ‘+ Profile’ icon.

• The user is navigated to the ‘Create Profile’ session page.

• Add ‘RDBMS profile using AWS Credential Manager’ as the ‘Profile Name’ text.
• Select ‘MySql’ from the ‘Source Name’ drop-down list.
• By default, the ‘Type Of Connection’ is selected as ‘Non JDBC.’

• Now, select ‘JDBC’ from the ‘Type Of Connection’ drop-down list.
• ‘Use AWS Credential Manager’ is added as a new enhancement.

• Checkbox ‘Use AWS Credential Manager’ checkbox.

Note: Checking the ‘Use AWS Credential Manager’ checkbox enables ‘URL’ and ‘Secret ARN’ parameters.

• Add these parameters (URL and Secret ARN).
• Click the ‘Test Connection’ button to establish the connection and later ‘Save’ button to save the new connection profile.
