Reconciliation Output

Review FDR scenario execution results, exception counts, and record summaries.

Overview

The Reconciliation Output section of the Scenario Output Browser provides a detailed view of Full Data Reconciliation (FDR) scenario results. Users can review execution summaries, inspect source and target record counts, examine exception details, and export results — all from a single consolidated interface.

Note: The Scenario Output Browser shows results from completed scenario executions. Ensure the reconciliation scenario has been executed before navigating here.

Prerequisites

• You are logged in to Data Trust with a Pro-User or Admin Pro-User role.
• At least one Full Data Reconciliation (FDR) scenario has been executed successfully.

Steps

Path: Data Trust › Scenario Output Browser › Reconciliation Output

Navigate to the Scenario Output Browser module and select the Reconciliation Output option from the left sidebar. This opens the FDR summary page listing all reconciliation scenario executions available for review.

The FDR Summary page displays a grid of all executed reconciliation scenarios with their names, statuses, and execution timestamps. Use the Refresh button to reload the latest results, Export to CSV to download the list, and the Search field to quickly find a specific scenario.

Click on any FDR row in the summary grid to drill into the detailed output for that specific scenario execution. The row expands or navigates to the scenario's execution result page, depending on the current layout.

The FDR Edit page shows the full configuration of the reconciliation scenario including source and target connection settings, rules, and filters. Review this page to understand what data sources and matching logic were used in the execution being inspected.

The FDR Status section displays the overall pass or fail outcome of the reconciliation execution along with a summary of key metrics. A green Passed status means all records matched within the defined tolerance; a red Failed status indicates mismatches that require investigation.

The Scenario Execution Summary panel provides a consolidated view of execution timing, total records processed, and match rates. This is the primary starting point for understanding how the reconciliation performed before diving into exception details.

The Exceptions section lists the number of records that did not match between the source and target data sets. Each exception row identifies the field, source value, and target value that caused the discrepancy, making it easy to trace data quality issues.

The Result Summary table aggregates pass, fail, and exception counts by category or data segment. Use this summary to quickly assess the scale of any data discrepancies before reviewing individual exception records.

The Source Count section shows the total number of records retrieved from the source system for this reconciliation run. Comparing this count against the target count is the first step in identifying volume mismatches between systems.

This detailed execution summary view expands on the high-level status with timestamps for each processing stage — fetch, compare, and report. Use this view to identify whether delays or failures occurred at a specific stage of the reconciliation pipeline.

The Target Count section displays the total number of records retrieved from the target system for comparison. Any difference between source and target counts is flagged as a volume exception in the results.

Figure 12: Scenario Execution Summary — Full View

The full Scenario Execution Summary combines source count, target count, matched records, and exception totals in a single comprehensive view. Export this summary to CSV for inclusion in data quality reports or to share findings with stakeholders.
