Server License Configuration is a part of System Preferences session page. Using this option, an admin pro-user can extend the server license either through an online or offline procedure. Apart from this, an admin pro-user can also view the details of used/total Pro User License Keys and Display User License Keys.
To learn about the Server License Information tile, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the ‘ADMIN CONSOLE’ tab.
- Hover on the left-hand side of the application to view the available options.
- Click the ‘System Preferences’ option.
Path: ADMIN CONSOLE > System Preferences
- A ‘Preferences’ page is displayed.
- Under the ‘Preferences’ page, a couple of tiles are displayed.
- Click the ‘Server License Information’ option.
- A ‘Server License Information’ session page is displayed.
- A ‘Refresh’ button is used to refresh the ‘Server License Information’ session page.
Under the Server License Information, the following details are shown here:
- Pro User License Keys (used/total) 18/27
- Display User License Keys (used/total) 4/20
Note: A pro user is a user who can create, modify, or execute respective content in the DataTrust console.
Note: A Display (power) user is a user who can only view the data and flow and further it is restricted to create, modify, or execute content in the DataTrust console.
- Click the ‘Click here’ button to extend the Server License configuration.
Path: ADMIN CONSOLE > System Preferences > Server License Information
- An ‘Extend Server License’ pop-up window is displayed.
Note: By default, the Offline Activation is set to the “No” condition.
- A ‘Server Key’ text field is displayed.
- Enter the ‘Server Key’.
Note: A ‘Server Key’ is a licensed key that will be sent by the RightData Administrator on request.
- Click the ‘Submit’ button to activate the Server License through an online mode.
- Now let’s select ‘Yes’ for the Offline Activation option.
Note: An ‘Upload Activation File’ is immediately displayed as the ‘Yes’ option is checked. It is required to upload the Activation File through the ‘Choose File’ button option.
- A ‘Server License Key’ is also required to be filled in the ‘Server Key’ text field.
- Click the ‘Submit’ button to activate the Server License through an offline mode.
- Click the ‘Menu’ button to navigate back to the System Preferences page.
