Moving and Copying Folders with Content

Move or copy Query Explorer folders along with all their contained queries.

Overview

This guide walks through the Moving and Copying Folders with Content workflow in Data Trust Query Studio. Follow the numbered steps below to configure, execute, and review the results.

Note: Ensure all required connection profiles are configured in the Administration module before building queries or Query Chains in this workflow.

Prerequisites

• You are logged in to Data Trust with a Pro-User or Admin Pro-User role.
• The relevant connection profiles have been configured in the Administration module.

Steps

Path: Data Trust › Query Studio › Moving and Copying Folders with Content

The copy_ss1 option creates a copy or moves the selected query or folder within the Query Explorer hierarchy. Use this to duplicate a query as a starting point for a new one, or to reorganise the folder structure.
