Reporting — Reconciliation Result Report in Calendar Buckets
View reconciliation execution results organized by daily calendar buckets to identify temporal trends and recurring failure patterns.
Overview
The Reconciliation Result Report in Calendar Buckets organizes reconciliation scenario execution results into daily calendar time buckets, making it easy to identify trends, spot high-failure days, and compare reconciliation health over time using a calendar-based perspective.
Prerequisites
- You are logged in to Data Trust with a Pro-User or Admin Pro-User role.
- At least one reconciliation scenario with multiple historical executions is available.
Accessing the Report
Path: Data Trust › Reporting › Reconciliation Result ReportNavigate to the Reporting module and look for the Reconciliation Dashboard option in the list of available dashboards. The Reconciliation Dashboard provides both the standard list view and the calendar bucket view of reconciliation results, depending on the display mode you select.
Click 'Reconciliation Dashboard' and then the Select button to open the scenario selection panel where you choose which reconciliation scenarios to include in the report. Only the scenarios you select here will appear in the calendar bucket view, so choose carefully to ensure the report covers all the reconciliations you need to monitor.
The Reconciliation Dashboard page loads your selected scenarios along with their most recent execution status and available report configuration actions. From this page you can switch to calendar bucket view, apply filters, or navigate directly to a specific scenario's result page.
Selecting Scenarios and Applying Filters
Click the Filter button to open the filter panel where you can refine which reconciliation scenarios appear in the calendar bucket report. Using the filter to select a specific subset of scenarios — for example, all scenarios within a Finance job — keeps the calendar view focused and readable.
Select multiple scenarios from the filter list to display their combined execution results in the calendar view as a unified day-by-day status grid. Viewing multiple scenarios together in the calendar highlights days when several scenarios failed simultaneously, which may indicate a shared upstream data problem.
The filter action bar provides three options: Preview validates your scenario selection, Clear resets all active filters, and Delete removes a previously saved filter configuration. Use Preview to confirm the selected scenarios before applying the filter, ensuring the calendar view will include all the reconciliations you intend to monitor.
Reading the Daily Calendar View
The calendar view organizes all selected scenario execution results by day, with each cell displaying a color-coded status indicator for the overall outcome on that date. Green cells indicate all selected scenarios passed on that day; red cells indicate one or more failures; amber cells indicate warnings — making pattern recognition immediate and intuitive.
Viewing Detailed Results
Click any day cell in the calendar to expand it and see the individual execution results for each selected scenario on that specific date, including status and exception counts. This drill-down capability lets you move from a macro calendar overview directly into the granular per-scenario results for any day of interest.
The Scenario Result Summary for a selected day shows a complete breakdown of all reconciliation outcomes including matched records, exception counts, and the overall status per scenario. Use this summary to understand the full scope of the day's data quality activity and to identify which specific scenarios require follow-up action.
