The user can create queries using SSRS profile. For Queries execution using SSRS profile, the user can select the filter option along with skip rows.
To learn more, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the ‘QUERY STUDIO’ module.
- Hover on ‘Query Builder’ from the left pane options.
- Click the ‘Query’ option.
- This action navigates the user to the ‘Query’ session page.
- Let’s select ‘SSRS_AD_RD’ from the ‘Profile’ drop-down list.
- Click the ‘Navigator’ button.
- Now click the ‘Customer Internet Sales’ from ‘SSRS_AD_NE’ Schema.
- This action loads the ‘Customer Internet Sales’ report.
- The ‘Start Date’ and ‘End Date’ are selected by default.
- Now, click the ‘Filters’ icon.
- A ‘Filters’ pop-up window is displayed.
- The same ‘StartDate’ and ‘EndDate’ values are displayed here as well.
- The ‘Show Description’ is by default selected as ‘False.’
- Click the ‘X’ icon to close the pop-up window.
- Select the ‘Skip rows’ as ‘3’ here.
Note: Skip rows specifies the number of initial rows to skip before loading the data. The ‘Skip rows’ number is different for each reporting sheet.
- Click the ‘Show Data’ icon.
- This action navigates the user to the ‘Results for Customer Internet Sales’ tab displayed the data.
- Click the ‘Preview Filters’ data.
- The specified ‘Filter Key’ and ‘Value’ grid is displayed.
Note: The user can check the applied filters here.
- Click the ‘Save Query’ button.
- An ‘Additional saving options’ pop-up window is displayed.
- Add ‘SSRS CIS Query’ as the ‘Query Name’ text.
- Click the ‘Save’ button.
- An ‘SSRS CIS Query saved successfully!’ is displayed.
Note: The user can use this Query (SSRS CIS Query) and can run it in any Query Chain, FDR, or Validation.
