Creating a Copy of an Existing Query
Overview
The Copy Query feature creates a duplicate of an existing query in the same or a different folder. This is useful when a new query shares most of its SQL or connection settings with an existing one, saving configuration time.
Prerequisites
- You are logged in to Data Trust with a Pro-User or Admin Pro-User role.
- At least one saved query exists in the Query Explorer.
Steps
Path: Data Trust › Query Studio › Creating a Copy of an Existing Query
The copy_ss1 option creates a copy or moves the selected query or folder within the Query Explorer hierarchy. Use this to duplicate a query as a starting point for a new one, or to reorganise the folder structure.
