Refined Watchlist Feature in FDR
Overview
The Refined Watchlist feature in FDR allows users to tag and monitor specific exception records across multiple reconciliation runs. This guide covers saving exceptions to a watchlist, reviewing watchlist history, and applying watchlist filters.
Prerequisites
- You are logged in to Data Trust with a Pro-User or Admin Pro-User role.
- An FDR scenario has been executed and exception records are available in the result summary.
Steps
Path: Data Trust › Scenario Studio › Scenario Builder › Refined Watchlist Feature in FDR
This step involves interacting with the Scenario Explorer within the Refined Watchlist Feature in FDR workflow. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete this step before proceeding to the next configuration stage.
This step involves selecting the Select the FDR and click on Edit within the Refined Watchlist Feature in FDR workflow. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete this step before proceeding to the next configuration stage.
This step involves clicking the Click on Execution History within the Refined Watchlist Feature in FDR workflow. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete this step before proceeding to the next configuration stage.
Click the Execute button to trigger the scenario and begin processing data from the configured sources. The scenario transitions to Monitor mode where you can track real-time execution progress and view interim results as each step completes.
The Click on Exceptions count page presents the full outcome of the scenario execution including record counts, match rates, and any detected exceptions. Drill into exception records to inspect individual mismatches and use the Export to CSV option to share results with stakeholders.

The Active Watchlist feature allows you to flag and track specific exception records across multiple execution cycles. Saving records to a watchlist ensures that known outstanding issues are visible in subsequent runs until they are resolved.
