What are the different data sources that DataTrust supports?
DataTrust offers support for a wide range of data sources, enabling seamless data integration across different systems. Below are the key data sources supported:
1. Relational Databases:
DataTrust supports all relational databases that provide a JDBC connector. Out-of-the-box connectors are available for popular databases, including Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), Oracle, PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, Databricks, MySQL, Snowflake, SAP HANA, Amazon Redshift, and Azure Synapse. Additionally, DataTrust offers a Bring Your Own Driver (BYOD) option for databases not natively supported.

2. File Systems:
DataTrust can integrate with various file systems, such as FTP servers, shared folders, and SharePoint. Supported file types include CSV, Excel, Parquet, JSON, and XML. Major cloud storage platforms like Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Amazon S3, and Google Cloud Storage (GCS) are also compatible.
3. REST API:
For flexible API integration, DataTrust supports REST API configurations with options for unauthorized access, basic authentication, bearer token authentication, pre-request API configurations, and pagination handling.
4. Reporting Tools:
Reporting tools like PowerBI, Tableau and Looker can be integrated with DataTrust as data sources. Typical use cases would be reporting tool migration testing like Tableau to PowerBI, version upgrade testing or reconciling gold layer data with reporting data.
5. SAP Systems:
DataTrust can connect to SAP systems both at the database layer and the application layer. Supported SAP systems include SAP ECC, SAP BW, and SAP S/4HANA.
