In the context of scenarios or databases, Cascade refers to a process that updates a parent scenario and then propagates those updates to its dependent child scenarios or databases. This means that any changes made to the parent scenario will automatically be reflected in the child scenarios as well. The Cascade feature is particularly useful in scenarios where there are multiple dependent scenarios that need to be updated simultaneously or where a change to a parent scenario should trigger corresponding changes in the child scenarios.
In QPT, a threshold value added to one SQL Query can be copied to the rest of the queries using the cascade icon.
In CMS (Content Management System), cascade icon is used to change the existing profile in Query, QCs, and Scenarios.
