Using FDR, users can compare a pair of data sets (source and target) to the field-by-field level and this option is the most comprehensive way to reconcile data between all DataTrust supported data sources. Let’s execute an FDR using Jira as an integration tool.
To learn, let us walk through the below procedure:
- Click the SCENARIO STUDIO module.
- Let’s search for a sample FDR scenario FDR Using GBQ.
- Checkbox FDR Using GBQ and click on Edit icon.
- This action opens the selected FDR in edit mode.
- Click the Additional Options tab.
- Drag and drop Jira icon onto the FDR designer page and double-tap on it.
- A Jira Settings pop-up window is displayed.
- Let’s select the Instance Name as Jira, Project as TCT – Test Case Tracker, Issue Type as Bug, Priority as
- Add RightData for both Reporter and Summary text fields.
- Click on Save button.
- This action saves the Jira Settings
- Click on Execute Now button.
- The FDR scenario is executed and here it is failed.
- Click on the Jira Settings green tick icon.
- We will be navigated to the Jira dashboard.
- Let’s add the required Username and Password details and click on the Log In button to login to the dashboard.
- The Jira dashboard shows the bug status.
- Click on the exceptions URL.
- We will be navigated to the Functional Data Reconciliation Exceptions summary page.
