Enhancements:
1. Displaying scenarios folder path view from scenario session monitor and scenario output browser.
- Prior to 2022.09 build, the folder path view was available only in explorers (global explorer, query explorer, scenario explorer, and job explorer) but now the same has been implemented in the scenario session monitor and scenario output browser.
2. Executions time zone conversion from server to local.
- Prior to 2022.09 build, all the executions were recorded in the UTC server time zone but now the executions happen in the local or system time zone. The changes can be observed from all the Header widgets including descriptions, execution histories, execution summary pages, all explorers created on columns, and where-used lists.
3. Apply filters and aggregation transformations from RDBMS widget.
- Prior to 2022.09 build, the user applied Filters and Aggregations transformations independently but now the user can use these transformations embedded in RDBMS widget to reduce data ingestion and execution time. This enhancement currently works only with RDBMS widget in FDR and QC.
4. Condition check filter enhancement in BDV.
- Prior to 2022.09 build, the user was able to use only the selected field (column) in the condition check but now, all the columns in the dataset will be available for selection.
6. Flexibility to connect to an on-premise Power BI server.
- Now the users can connect to an on-premise server using different parameters such as username, password, and server. Earlier, the user was able to establish Power BI profile connection using cloud server with Basic Authentication (user name and password) and Tenant Id (Client id, client secret, tenant id, and service principal object id)
7. BOBJ as a data source in TDR for count and data comparisons
- BOBJ is added as a new data source in TDR. Now users can compare multiple reports in single scenario.
8. Feasibility to view and copy selected profile details from the profile info icon.
- Now the user can view and copy the selected profile-related parameters such as connection string, server, port, data source, initial catalog, application server, system number, system id, client, load balancing, SNC, driver class, default enclosure character etc., from the profile info icon. This enhancement is currently enabled in Query Builder (Query), QPT, and Content Management System (QCs, scenarios, and Jobs)
and send the report in the Scenario email.
10. Capability to view the source/target duplicate records from FDR execution summary screen.
- While comparing the source and target data in an FDR scenario, in case of duplicate keys in either source or target or both, user can view the duplicate records due to which the comparison could not take place.
13. A provision to enable or disable an existing connection profile.
- Now, the users can either enable or disable an existing connection profile from the list of available connection profiles. The disabled connection profiles cannot be used for any content creation (Query, QC, FDR etc.). Existing content using disabled connection profiles can’t be executed.
14. Prevent duplication of assets (Query, QC, FDR etc.) during content migration process (CMS).
15. Establish RDBMS JDBC type profile connections using AWS Secrets Manager.
- Now, the user can create any RDBMS JDBC profile connection using AWS Secrets Manager parameters such as URL and Secret ARN.
16. Option to align the design of a validation scenario.
- Now the users can line up all the validation widgets in proper alignment to avoid a cluttered design using ‘Align Widgets’ option. The user can also undo this alignment change using undo button.
17. A provision to individually enable or disable threshold options in FDR and validation scenarios.
- Prior to 2022.09 build, the user had to enter all the threshold values for Pass, Information and Warning but now the user can individually enable any threshold parameter and add the required threshold in either value or percentage format.
18. Option to send TDR result summary as an attachment in an email.
- Now, the users can view the details such as source table, source table count, target table, target table count, exceptions count, count status, data status, etc., as an attachment in TDR email.
19. Enabling PDF data email attachments for all reporting dashboards.
- Prior to 2022.09 build, the user received only the excel format dashboard email reports but now, user can also view the same dashboard reports in PDF format.
